jmoody 0 Posted August 3, 2006 Is this too obvious? I liked the way the polarizer set off the clouds and blue sky (finally! The others might as well have been black and white it was so grey when I first got there) and played off the metal, but my wife thought it was too obvious & didn't seem that impressed (what's a guy to do? :-) THanks to any who stop by/rate/leave suggestions/comments. sunapeephoto 0 Posted August 3, 2006 Though your wife is important to please, in the final analysis you are the one that needs to approve or disapprove of your photo. Here (IMO) the reflections are great and the deep blue of the sky gives it a near cibachrome quality. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted August 3, 2006 Very very effective, beautiful colours, the sky reflection in the building, exquisite ! cheers Jana Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted August 3, 2006 I really like this. In lighting and contrast they matches well with the clouds. Nice abstract too. Link to comment
gdanmitchell 0 Posted August 3, 2006 Very nice work, Jeff. I not only like the quality of the building itself, but I very much like the juxtapostion (and contrast) of the fluffy clouds with the metallic surfaces. Great photograph. Dan Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted August 3, 2006 Thanks Spencer, Jana, and John. My wife is by far my biggest critic (though in a lot of ways that's actually a bonus. Nobody wants a "yes man" giving you unrealistic expectations all day long... well, at least not "all day" :-) Anyway, I took literally tons of more abstract shots here (I'll upload more soon), especially since the sky was so grey at first...(and I think she's starting to value those more since they seem to take more "work". Don't know how I suckered her into believing that! :-) but this one just stopped me in my tracks when I saw it on my lcd ("My name is Jeff & I have a problem... I chimp" :-) Glad you like it. Maybe not the MOST original, but... Link to comment

jmoody 0 Posted August 18, 2006 Now that you mention it... kind of a Roger Rabbit thing? I do see it. Now if I could just find "Jessica Rabbit" :-) Link to comment
