DRAGONS & LEYENDS

labuenaluz

Some time ago, I listened to one old legend, it said that "in the hardest ices of winter, when the nights arrived on forests and recondite places, dragons and strange creatures appeared of the dark, governing the dominions of nature and their shades. Few were those that subsisted and less those that survived, fortunate was the one that could return to the heat of home remembering its intense experience".
Under a crepuscule of Winter, the ice really dominated the surroundings (human and technical equipment holding the "fresh"), the mysterious beings also appeared (an inoffensive and wonderful Wild Pine carved by erosion and time). Without having perceived no soul for many hours, enjoying and in complete abstraction with the heavy and uncomfortable equipment uphills, we witnessed and captured the dreamed legend.

Some time ago, I listened to one old legend, it talked about strange creatures in natures kingdom, and how they emerged from the cold and obscure.

Feedback, comments, critiques appreciated!

Breathtaking scenery, perfectly exposed and composed. Hot sky and ice, dramatic color palette. Nice title - now that you mention the dragon, I see him :-)

Ferrando, simple yet strong composition here. The trees break the line of the horizon, their curve is leading our eye to the distant mountain. The palette of this image is really outstanding, but what is the most important is the mist (clouds?) which hides all the things that could make the composition less striking and so constitute a good background for the curved trees. It is a perfect coincidence that the mountain under the horizon at which the tree points remains visible - the mist frames it perfectly.
