Hello, my name is Aaron and I have an addiction for power poles...

 

I don't know what it's like around there, but here, I'm constantly struck by sheer size and patterns of the tracts of land and the big sky. Can't ever seem to get it to work in a photograph like, for example, Don Kirby. I should try some aerial shots one day, maybe.

oh no! is this the meeting place for power pole lovers anonymous? I dont want to do any 12 step programs. I like my addictions.

I don't think I've ever met a power pole I didn't like . . . I've been attending a 12-pole program for years and haven't been able to kick my dirty little habit.

All of my childhood, my mother complained that all my father's landscape photos had powerlines in them...so I grew up thinking that was a bad thing...I must say, you've changed my mind :~)
