This is a 100% unmanipulated photo. These waters are characteristic of the Western Ionian islands of Greece due to the limestone which is the main geological component of the West side of all those islands. The particular island is called Leukada which is in Greek means 'Whiteness' due to the light blue of the waters. I've gone swimming in those waters and I can say they are impressive apart from the colors also due to the steep cliffs and the thin sandy beaches.

I somehow feel that most people that critiqued -or better to say rated because I have no critiques so far- this photo thought it was a classic PS manipulated touristy vacation ad... Actually this photo has 0% manipulation. I am sad to see that it has under average ratings with no escorting comments to help me improve. I expected at least higher aesthetics and not 3.75. THEN AGAIN I REALIZE WHAT A GOOD PHOTO THIS IS BECAUSE IT GIVES THE OPTICAL ILLUSSION OF BEING MANIPULATED IN SOME WAY...thank the island of Leukada in Greece for that...Odysea's (or Ulysee's) home -according to new excavations-)
