I like the texture contrasts in your still life... It might be nice to do the same scene in a sort of lower angle and warm light (possibly with a narrow shaft crossing... you know the sort that illuminate all the dust motes in the air... just what your image conjured in my minds eye) Fine work. Gelu - thanks for taking timme to comment here. I have a BW of this one ( and many other versions: blue, sepia and desaturated) Here's the BW. Glad you asked for the BW version.

 

Ian - thanks for your comment too. The lower angle - I'll give that a try next time I am doing a phot like this and yes - I too would love to see the dust in the air. About the light I can tell it's natural daylight late in the afternoon.

I like the B&W version that you shared, but for some reason I really prefer the original color post. The colors and lighting that you used in that one are very nicely muted, with low saturation. You do such wonderful still life images!
