promytius1 0 Posted July 29, 2006 I would have placed the model closer to the camera. The sand texture is really interesting. I think it's a better effect to not show all the prior movement about the model's feet; untouched sand would have been beeter. I don't like the shadow across her chest, and I don't like the pose of her right hand. Her pose is half-candid, half stilted, not a very good one. I like the black sky and the composition. Overall the model is a problem; otherwise a nice photo. Link to comment
creative art and photograp 0 Posted July 29, 2006 I agree- wonderful photo overall, BUT the problem is with the model. She seems really out of place or at least in the wrong place. You have a great idea and good theme; I would repose the lady to face more to the left, drop her right arm and to face into the light more to get rid of the shadows across her chest and face. mpburton 0 Posted July 29, 2006 I really like the overall levels of this shot - great balance of hilights and lowlights. I also agree though that the model should either be less or more present. And you could have considered having her "hop" into space to disrupt less sand... Link to comment
