marcadamus 1 Posted July 27, 2006 I came accross these icy waters beneath Oregon's Mount Jefferson Peak. I felt the cold blues of night went well with the ice and the 2.5 minute exposure turned the choppy waters glass smooth with faded reflections. Link to comment

will king 0 Posted July 27, 2006 You keep producing AWESOME images. Time after time after time. Amazing work Marc. One of the best long exposures I've seen here. Link to comment
distantvoice 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Very nice colours. I have tried long exposures with my 5D on Santorini also and the results were satisfactory but of course not as good as yours. Anyway the composition of the ice in the foreground against the mountain and its reflection is perfect. Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted July 27, 2006 I applied some selective noise reduction in PS to compensate for the exposure. The one print I have made thus far looks very good. Link to comment
alinux33 0 Posted July 27, 2006 I think one of my dreams will be from now on, a trip in company with you. Theese landscapes are simply breathtaking, and your style, definitely is on my taste. Best wishes and keep up the amazing work! P.S. 7/7 for the photo, is wonderful! Link to comment
newfocus 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Stunning. Really caught my attention as a thumbnail in the forum and definitely didn't disappoint larger. The cool colours are superb, but I particuarly like the way you've managed to position the ice around the reflection of the mountain. Very effective. John. Link to comment

jandk1 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Absolutely stunning sceneries. I love your work, especially the long exposures like this one! "Ethereal" is another favorite. Keep up the good work. You seem to be really dedicated. Good use of gradient filters and great exposures! I really like the sense of movement in the sky together with the moderate, tasteful colors. This is beauitiful! robertbrown 1 Posted August 17, 2006 Marc, I also shoot with a 5D and I'm surprised that the noise wasn't an issue. By the way, this is a very dramatic shot! Link to comment
