I really like the composition that I came up with, but I have no clue

about the tone/color (or lack thereof). Anybody have any thoughts?

Convert to black and white or... I feel like there's potential here,

Hi Jeff...I took a look at your photo on PS in B&W and....in my opinion you really lose alot of the image by converting it.Perhaps if you are very skilled at post processing, you could capture the great tonal range in the sand.... Otherwise, what you captured here works really well...excellent composition, especially from your viewpoint and the fine color tones in the sand. Really a good one..regards!
