One of my favorite shots thus far this year. This one from the cheap

seats (well not that cheap) on the RF line. Please comment with your

rating as I like to get feedback as to what you liked and didn't

about the shot.

I like the photo, the action going on. My only concern is that the players are so in the center of the image. My suggestion would be to crop the image at the right and the bottom. Nice moment though! I bet you went through quite a bit of images to get that photo.

I can't disagree with the central focus on the players but I'm not really sure how else to place them. second base is centered in the field and going left or right would either be dead space or add elements not intergral to the play. If I could have improved it ideally the runner sliding in from the left corner would make the perfect addition unfortunately I'd have missed the toss into the 2b's mitt. As far as shots, I shoot about 150-200 images per game. Of which there are perhaps 10 keepers. I know the game well so I'm usually pretty aware of where the action is BUT, the players don't always cooperate and sometimes a face is down, or a runner gets in the way of the actual shot. Or the usual problems off missed focus, etc. Shooting action is tough, there are lots of just missed photos that are milliseconds from being very nice shots.

Looks like an old newspaper shot from the 60s (except that everyone isn't wearing hats and suits)
