bradford 0 Posted July 23, 2006 Whatever kind of rock formation this is, it's beautiful. Curious as to the lighting etc. Nicely done, would like to see some more range of tones and detail though, although that may be my monitor. Link to comment

tranhuy 0 Posted July 23, 2006 Brad, I am sorry that I'm not sure what kind of rock formation this is. I guess I can do a research online about this place and answer you soon. I only spent a day there, so I wasn't able to get all the info. This is part of the Truong Son Mountain (which I believe is lying along the border of Vietnam, Lao, part of China and Cambodia(?)). This is a cave, yes. However, there's water runs thru it in some areas starting somewhere in Lao, and there are time in the year that you cannot enter. Also some areas are too dangerous to enter and being restricted by UNESCO. You can find out more info. thru this website http://www.thesalmons.org/lynn/wh-vietnam.html. About the lighting, it was actually lighten by color lighting (which I hate so much), the true color is more like this http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4717896. Anyway, thanks for looking. henrimanguy 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Superb photo. I am a lover of caves (yet not a potholer) and I like that you have'nt used a flash in your caves photos. Moreover, all your photos in this folder are superb. Regards, Henri Link to comment
