We topped out at 100 degrees today and right about now this beautiful lake looks really appealing, I could just go join those geese. This image is picture postcard perfect.

The scene is almost too beautiful to be real. Wonderful shot. I love the ducks in the bottom left, they add such a sense of depth to the photo. Details, details, details.

Thanks Susan and Margaret, the spot is just outside of Aspen, CO. Had to be at the lake at 0630 to capture the geese, lake has too many waves after 0730 and too many hikers after 0800.

Beautiful capture. I like the greens and the geese. I also like the bit of rocks on the lower right corner echoing the rest of the mountain diagonally.

 

If you are there again, I would suggest the same shot with some magic light.

Thanks Arthur, I know, the light - a critique on another photo mentioned it also and I totally agree. Guess I could just add something in but that's not what I'm about. Unfortunetly, this wasn't a photo trip and my only free times were before the sun hit the peaks. Luckily, I'll return since I have family in that area.
