soenda 0 Posted July 22, 2006 What an enchanting photograph this is. The severe beauty of the hills sets off the allure of the path that leads us to the heart of the frame and around the bend. What awaits there? No hint is offered, but the only way to go is forward. The rich mauve tint of the rocks plays wonderfully off the pearl grey of the path. Link to comment

J. Perez 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Nice picture. Love the very simple composition and the contrast between the colorless path and very red ground. Link to comment

momente 0 Posted September 11, 2006 My eye was instantly attracted to this, very straigh-forward and well composed. I don't see how it could have been captured any better. Link to comment
Charles_Webster 226 Posted September 11, 2006 Thanks to all of you for your compliments. This was taken between thunder showers after driving almost 1000 miles to get to the location. The light was flat, the conditions were awful, but this picture presented itself to me. I too am pleased with the simplicity and grace. Link to comment

Charles_Webster 226 Posted August 4, 2007 This picture took 3rd place out of 300+ entries at a local competition. I am very happy with it. I'm returning to this location soon so look for more pictures. Link to comment
wp 0 Posted October 11, 2007 To me this is 1 of ur stronger images though I have seen this as much as a waterfall or a bird image. I would adjust the levels CRTL + L and brighten up this a bit to pull out the detail in the (rocks?) and make the walkway more pronounced.Take CareWP Link to comment
KenPapai 37 Posted January 11, 2008 Seriously, I love this photo. I love the way the walk disappears into the hills. Perfectly composed Charles and nicely done at f/16. I wish I were there. Thanks for the image. Link to comment
