Just submitted one of mine in the forum and saw yours. Very nicely done. I like that you included the wires and stop sign -- gives a sense of reality to a surreal looking tree and sky. Beautiful image and should be framed.

Holy Smokes, I thought you were a reporter from the Washington Post! [i'll bet you never hear that one.]

Thanks Robert, to tell you the truth this is really doctored up. I don't use PS much except for the usual easy stuff, but I fooled around with this one a little more than usual. I did use a polarizer that day though, & that caused the dark sky.

To tell you the truth I was just admiring some of your photos when I got called away from this machine. Thanks for looking & commenting.

Robert has really identified the unique element of this shot and it is the mix of man-made and nature. This shot has all the makings of your typical run of the mill beautiful tree shot but you've made it unique and creative. Very cool clouds.

I really like this shot a lot. It is a rather unique and creative one and I, too, like the stop sign etc. in it. Also, what an awesome sky. I use the polarizer lens some myself and I really like the way it captures skies. You know me always like the black/white's. Good work as usual.

Thanks Janie, that's pretty typical landscape around here. Not much relief. I used a polarizer to dramitize those clouds a little. Thanks for the look & the comment.

Excellent image and exposure. I think the powerlines work well here and could also work well minus them with just the tree and stop sign. Either way well seen and captured. Makes a great image. Nice tonality range as well.

Thanks for the visit. I know yoiu had to go deep to find this one. It was a color picture at first. One of those lonely prairie intersections in Illinois. I know what you mean about the wires. They were there so I left them in. Thanks again for the visit.
