At the first moment I liked the blue.., and now your droplet too..! I tried an ant today, and yes, it is "difficult.." Olaf.

This has inspired me to try to find an old K-mount macro lens i know is lying around here somewhere to see if i could ever do anything nearly as beautiful and visually rich as this. I surely could never be that bold in making such a successful choice of colours though...

 

A question from a beginner about depth of field: Is it intentional to have the front (lowest part of the picture) so blurry?

Thanks for the comment. Actually, the foreground, and background blur is a result of the macro setting, which gives a pretty narrow focus point, at least on my small camera.
