I was going for the reflection and colours. I think I got them. Shame about the bright sun in the window. Overdid that I think.

I was going for the reflections and the colours. I have not modified

the photo yet but intend to. I think the suns reflection is

distracting but I am not sure how to minimise it without destroying

the photo.

Any help on this appreciated.

Also your comments please?

Thanks

Dave

I'm not so sure that you should do anything about the reflection-I find that it helps contribute to the feeling of warmth which accompanies the serenity of the water; I would, however, remove that little bit of reflected building on the extreme right hand side of the photograph a little less than half way up. best regards! cb :0)

This is a great pic! I love its symmetry. Just crop at the bottom the water you don't need for the symmetry and try to recover some details on the dark reflection.

You said you want to take away the sun? In my opinion you could try with copy and paste a layer: select the very first 4 windows from left with the pen and adjust the selection with ctrl on the anchor points. After make a selection on the four windows with the sun and use "paste into" with free trasform. It will save it on another layer. Choose the more appropiate way to merge and flatten. So you can adjust with the clone tool the boards.

The result (i just did it in 3 minnits to show ya, it doesn't want to be a professional result) is shown.

Hope this will help. Pit.

agree. keep the highlights in the windows. perhaps crop a tiny piece of the sky so the left corner of the building is not at the half line. jh
