Parvin bhai, I like the effort, but I think I do like the original one a bit better. What PS type stuff did you do to the image if I may ask?

amar,well i did quite a few things,don't remember,just kept fooling around.but what i do find surprising is the different reactions the same pic will get on different photo sites,i posted this pic at the same time on another site and it was appreciated,i'm not saying that means its good,it's just that i've seen the same thing happening quite a few times where a picture i've posted here wil be appreciated but not get a single comment on the other site.just find it interesting and don't know what to make of it,almost seems like mob pyschology.

Hi Parvin, I have put up photos on Photo.net, the very same ones at different times and they have gotten different reactions, both in terms of ratings and comments. For me, this version isn't as superior as the original mostly due to the blown out portions on her leg, face, and shoulder which also appears yellowish. That said, the water seems different than in the original and I kind of like the difference in that respect.

amarbhai,what i said had nothing to do with defending this picture or asking for a detailed critique,i was merely making an observation as to how the same pic on different sites elicits consistently different responses like the site as a group responded differently to the pic.

Parvin,tastes differ.A lot depends on the geography and history of the place & people.

Hi Parvinbhai, I gave a further comment about why I preferred the original version mostly because my original didn't really quite sum up in any detail why.

Another great capture. The only thing that bothers me about this shot is the halo around the top of her head. Take that away, and this shot is superb for me.

I love this shot as it is,..it has almost a 3d quality. Not sure if it is just me,..but she is practically jumping off of my screen.
