Another great shot!!Alec, Last year I remember with Bilal you took some similar one too. I was there last week, but not sure how to use my DSLR yet, so many disappointed photos. I guess you need a tripod for this shot right?

Thanks guys for commenting. Marco, Spencer this was shot with a monopod during feeding time at the Singapore Zoo. 400 ISO, -1 exposure metering to compensate for the white tiger, 1/800 sec at F/8, 500mm. I went there with two other PN guys who wanted tips on taking some animal shots and I knew this is a great spot for action photos. Managed to freeze the moment as the white tiger jumps for it's meal. The Sigma 50-500mm AF (Bigma) performed brilliantly.

Like everyone else, agree that this is a great capture. Animals in action always make great shots, if we manage to capture them. I know this scene very well. Have staked out this spot myself several times in the past. These majestic animals move real fast, and you did well to succeed in freezing their motion with 1/800s - Jeremy (Homepage:- www.pbase.com/jeremy101).

Superb action shot with smooth flow & I know how difficult to get them sharp as this. I am still trying to learn capturing action shots as currently, most turn out blur.
