aepelbacher 0 Posted July 17, 2006 It was a VERY hot afternoon in London. On the plaza near the London City Hall (see some other images in this same folder) they had a large area of these fountains that you could walk right across. There were lots of little kids running around and seeming to have more fun than they would have in a swimming pool. Any thoughts you might have would be most welcome! :-) Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted July 17, 2006 Did you notice how he's standing directly on top of one of the fountains, trying to get the water to stop? :-) Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted July 18, 2006 Very well caught! The kid loks like he is waiting for the fountain to zap him. I can't remember whether these vary in height or not. We saw one in Bern Switzerland where you never knew which jet was going to go off next. Naturally Matt and I dared each other to walk through them all. I pleaded that I couldn't on account of the nice new camera :-) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 20, 2006 My Favorite Lou Ann, because the composition is so good, and has the punch. I like his silhouette among the "junmping" water,I like the nice BG, even I would have tried to clon out the line under the painting that is touching his head, but that is a small issue. I like it (as I have already wrote you )that you include more possibilities of a given scene!Always bring more interest! The title is nore than appropriate. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted July 20, 2006 Thank you folks ... and, Pnina, you're so right - not only should I clone out the "line" that touches his head (I guess it's a placard explaining the photo), but the mechanical stuff that's attached to the board (top center). That would simplify the composition even more! Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted July 20, 2006 This IS cool, Lou Ann. I keep asking myself if it would have been better front-lighted rather than from the back, but I'm not sure. Either way, it's a winner. --Lannie Link to comment
