if you straightened the horizon line and croped off the brighter rocks and grass on the bottom, this would be a great photo.. the horizon is a good test of this lens' distortion by the way

Yep your horizon isn't quite level and may even exhibit a slight wide angle curve to the horizon and I agree I would lose the foilage at the bottom and let the eyes be directed to that wonderful curve and the receding tide over black rock. I suppose it is not such an aesthetic picture but it sure is original and beautifully executed, with bags of mood. I love it and the earlier points are easily attended too.
