Hi Buddy, this is one terrific scene, sure reminds me of a similar shot of Ansel Adams'. The IR sure has brought out the clouds.....Was it pretty warm in Italy, it's plenty warm here (90-95),I think that's about 35 centigrate......glad to see you back.....Jim

Oh my, 42C, now that is HOT, that is about as hot as I've ever seen it here in Indiana......The Adams photo I was referring to was"Tenaya Lake,Mount Conness,Yosemite National Park C.1946".....This is a great photograph, hope you were able to shoot several different scenes. What a wonderful place.....Jim

Great to see that you are back again Tony whit such a wonderful shot of lac de Como. The sky is really exceptional with all those flare our clouds above the calm lake and soft sloops of the hills. The colourtones are very nice too. Though I wonder how this composition would look in aquamarine. That's the colour which comes up to my mind when I think of Italy or Greece. But this version is great, that is for sure! Excellent work dear Tony.

 

Warm Greetings from a real hot Maarheeze. It's 2.30 after midnight now and still to hot to go to sleep. Tomorrow the temperature will rise even more than the 34 degrees we have had today. But don't complain Tony, finally your prayers are answered and you have got what you want; Nothing else than Sunshine!!!:)))
