Guest Guest Posted July 16, 2006 Very nice and unique composition. More and more, we're forced to veiw wildlife with the intrusions of civilization. You've used it to your advantage here! Link to comment
bryan olesen 0 Posted July 16, 2006 Laurie said it. This is not "man vs. nature", but "nature with man". Very original Giangiorgio. Link to comment
jnicholson 0 Posted July 16, 2006 I do like this image but forgive me for asking one question: Is it a composite? I see no bird reflection and it seems I should. Still, nice image. Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 458 Posted July 17, 2006 Dear Jamie, the telephoto used compresses very much the leveles so the flamengos that are very distant from the power line appear in the photo close to it. probably the lack of reflection depend from it . The photo was taken from the top of an hill near the laguna( sorry for my English) thanks for your comment, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

jnicholson 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Giangiorgio, sorry for the delay in responding. I've been out of town. Your explanation makes perfect sense. Thank you. Now I think about it if the birds and the tower were close to the same plane then the birds would be huge. Even for big birds. So now I understand. Basically, if the water were big enough the bird reflections would be well below the tower reflection since they are much closer to you. Thanks again for your explanation and I certainly meant no disrespect. As far as your English goes, to me it's perfect. If you didn't speak English at some level we wouldn't be able to communicate. So, that makes your English perfect. All the best. Link to comment
pablowarko 1 Posted February 4, 2020 I like the blurred part of the reflection of the high tension wires and tower, Giangiorgio. It gives you a sense of power vibrating through them. Interesting there is no reflection of the birds. A very well conceived and presented image. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
