davidroossien 0 Posted July 20, 2006 Another nice one! A stronger composition this time--the lead in is great and the left leaves are great where they twist and meet. The top left leaf is upside down and pointing into the frame--another neat little feature. I like the medium darkness of this one. It has lots of snap in the dark tones. The texture is gritty. The only thing I don't like is the out of focus leaf in the lower left. It still works because the natural flow is from the lower right, diaganally upward and to the left. It bypasses the lower left, negative space. I think this is one of your very best. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,934 Posted July 20, 2006 Thanks for the input David & I agree this is a stronger composition than the other & yes that leaf is a little too soft but I thought I'd better leave it in to balance the frame.
