Great timing on this photo. Maybe some Photoshop work on the background to make it crisper, not so washed out. Great photo. John

Thanks for the feedback. I hear you on the background John - but I'm not big on manipulation. What did you have in mind? How would you go about it (obviously enhancing only - not changing). Thanks again. JH

I thought that you could create a layer mask and correct the background exposure so that it appears crisper. The background seems hazy and takes attention away from the subject of the photo.

I'll first have to buy Photoshop - and then try it. But won't making the background crisper let the subject move even further into obscurity? JH

It is possible that the "flyer" would get lost in a crisper background, but then you would just get rid of the layer and say "bad idea". I think that the flyer would appear more three dimensional with the crisper background though I could easily be wrong and whether or not you change the background this is a good photo worth displaying.

I had a minute and enhanced the background a bit. Viewing it, I can see both our sides.

I could never take offense. Instead, I appreciate the trouble you took tremendously. I like it! It gives the image more "punch" I think.

 

Now I just need to figure out how to do it myself.... ;-)
