yes the light is playing very very beautifully in places, and besides the things of very obvious interest here, the texture towards the base of the tree ravels amongst itself alongside her amazingly.

and jana, it's wonderful to see that you've taken the step into works of this nature. and especially that you've first become proficient as a photographer and artist before doing so. too often people seem to blunder into this genre before they're capable of doing it justice.

Very Magritte like Jana! It is a photo that raises questions: what is she doing there, what is going to happen, who else is supposed to enter the scene and will it be happy-ending or not?

The face being in shadow makes it disappear and that makes the photo somewhat surreal to me. I think it would have been even better had all of her face been in black.

the face in shadow works well for me, it adds some mystery to the shot. I love the hard lighting
