Just plain beautiful, Sondra. That little bush works so well as part of this scene, to me it seems to balance with those distant mountains......Question: was the sky this gray or did you desaturate that area?.....Jim

Jim, this is truly how the sky looked, it was somewhat frightening because the wind picked up too and all we got was a sprinkle. Sondra

Storms Brewing in that part of the country really add to the contrast colors....love the view Sondra....

I like the way this image works - the bush leads your eyes to the "v" of the rust-color ground, that guides you to the purple, then blue and finally you see the ominous clouds above. It seems very well balanced and compositionally pleasing. Nice, rich colors, too.

I was just looking at this and about to write a comment when I read Kim's above. He said it very succinctly. It is a wonderful image, beautifully composed.
