This photo in almost untouched. I did crop out a little of the

right side. My question is this: I did no editting to the photo

and I am wondering if I should add a little contrast to the photo to

bring the bird out of the background a little? I don't want to do

too much. All comments and suggestions are welocome. Thank you.

Jeffery

I like this take a lot. You have, "reading" left to right, a low contrast almost abstract form and lines, becoming more obviously an animal, then rather suddenly, the face of the bird, bill and fish

Very dramatic, like it the more I look, terrific job

I agree with Jack, the aspect of the photo that you are most concerned about (as far as i can tell) is actually the part of the photo that i enjoy the most. The yellow and greenish tints with the rest of the frame using very neutral, "matchy" colors really makes this image unique. Great capture!

There is nothing much todo with this image. As far as I know, the point of focus is on its eyes, which is damn clear. It brings the image as beautiful. Again, it is not a stand-still shot, it is an action shot. Very difficult to get one like this.

The background on this image suits it well. It emphasizes the drama of the moment. It highlights the subject well.

I tend to agree with what everyone else said. I think the color of the bill and the fish contrast nicely with the background. I wouldn't change anything. Great job!

Excellent capture and lighting !The background is just perfect and the fish is very clear and shows nice details. Congratulations, Jeffrey!

I agree with everyone that this is a great shot, but I disagree that it doesn't need a little contrast. I do see where you're going with the softness of the shot though.
