The Greenhouse Effect

I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at (greenhouse windows???), but it's simple and effective - a base abstract design. Not sure about the little bits of reddish color - straight b&w might be more effective, imo.

These are two panes from a greenhouse in Volunteer Park in Seattle, the site of my recent spate of shots. I looked at various crop possibilities and settled, as I usually do, for the close-up and/or abstract take. It was actaully the bits of red that grabbed my eye here for their Pollackesque quality.

Feedback is always appreciated.

Interesting shot with or without the red bits. Looks like someone slapped paint on a black canvas. I can see what attracted you to crop as you did; you know how I tend to crop/shoot close most of the time, so it does appeal to me this way.

Mark, this is a very graphic and unusual shot: I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. I like the flow and framing very much.
