The eyes of him and the skin texture tell quite a story in itself. You have managed to capture some very optimistic sparkle into his eyes, such that takes through the deepest and darkest valleys. Very fine image, as allways.

Nice composition & sepia tone. Diagonal lines work well even if the horizon looks tilted. Texture in the face seems to have too much sharpening.

Something with the light (coming on the left and fading away in the right)is making this extrrrrrrrrrra special, I cannot explain it, it is a beautifulllllllll picture, and he is standing just perfect, he is realy pressent as if he is coming out of the picture, and a beautifull old man, and I wanted to give it 7/6 but it was not allowed, so 6/6

Fantastic shot, Kaushik! The only thing that looks a bit foreign is the background which looks a bit to soft with the figure -- maybe a bit noise would be good.. But it's great, no matter what!

Outstanding! This photo blows me away! I love the depth in his face, the highlights vrs shadows. I love the hard lines in the base of his neck contrasting with the soft scarf. The gentle look on his face. The background is so simple and elegant that it adds to the portrait instead of distracting from the person. The sepia tones are gorgeous. What more can I say to let you know that this is one of my favorites I've seen on this site so far! Love it!
