Summer Smile

My wife's friend stopped by with her daughter today. This busy 4 year old sat nicely in the patio chair for a few snaps. I took a chance using the 50mm at f 2.0, which has little depth of field, but gives the background a nice softness. Several shots were in fact not focused well, thanks to the difficulty focusing the D70 manually, but, fortunately, we got a couple. What a smile, eh! (Best viewed large!)

Could she be any cuter?(no) Very even light,lovely skin tones-another example of your fine portrait eye. Did she seem like an "old soul " to you?

Thanks Leann. I do agree there is something about her that makes her seem much older. Old soul? I don't know. She has amazing eyes, perfect skin and red lips, all naturally occuring, of course. Grown up women have to use make-up, lipstick and all sorts of stuff to achieve, or "re-capture" this natural beauty. Thanks for stopping by.
