I personally like this. I think it has a eery, surreal feeling to it. I think the adjustments turned what could have been a regular photo into a nice visual that I believe has been rated unfairly. I am not a professional or even an experienced novice, but it does seem like if it is not a pair of breasts or a portrait of some sort you are going to get low ratings. This has an artistic quality to it.... Well done.

Thank you for your kind words, however do not feel too disappointed with the ratings as this is really an indicator to peoples tastes. It is much more appropriate to receive critiques as you get a better understanding why people like or dislike your image. I don't take the ratings to heart, you like it or you don't.

 

There are some excellent images on here of nudes and portrait shots as there are lots of indifferent types? I like everything on here because every one has different tastes be it flowers or the Photo shopped images that people have taken hours to produce.

 

I personally put on images that I like! I then only wish to know how I can improve on what I have done technically....

 

I'm pleased however that you find this image pleasing; I agree that there are a lot of images that can be repeated over and over again. I tried to make this that little bit more eerie...
