vintage_velocity 0 Posted July 4, 2006 In regard to some of your responses to my comments on a few of your other images, I can really appreciate how hard it can be to shoot from behind safety fencing and the limitations that will impose. But I think this works quite well. The lighting is good and and I like the shadows on the side pods while the driver is well lit. I also like the fact that the shadow behind the car isn't cut off. You've left some space in front of the car to indicate movement across the frame, and while I've suggested some of your other images are cropped too tightly, here I think you could crop a bit off the bottom and use the "Rule of Thirds" to your advantage. What really works for me here is that this appears to be close to full frame and the composition was done in the camera rather than with Photoshop after the fact. That's a skill that takes time and practice to develop so kudos to you. :-) Link to comment
