Two specific questions for you: (1) Is it contrasty/saturated enough? (2) Does the slight lean to the vertical line bother you as much as it bothers me? (I worked with the perspective tool in PSCS2 for a while with it, but didn't want to distort the clock. I have a lot more learning to do with the PSCS2!)

As usual, any comments or thoughts are greatly appreciated!! :-)

Hi Lou Ann, the vertical distortation doesn`t bother me, in fact, I think it adds an element of interest to the composition. IMO, the focus needs to be a bit sharper.

I agree with Jim - not worried about the perspective. I like your selection of the part clockface and the nice crisp light and shadow.

I like it too! Especially the crop on this, Lou Ann.

BTW, thanks for spending some time with my portfolio...

Hi, Lou Ann,

The vertical distortion doesn't bother me but, on the other hand, it would be nice to have a vertical one to compare. I think it would be interesting to see the difference. If you wait just twelve short hours, you can try it again -:)

Nice shot, though, and good composition. Cheers.

Ah, yes, another Canon test shot straight from the pages of dpreview.com. . . .

Actually, I like this crop, Lou Ann, especially with the strong verticals on teh right counterpoised against the circles on the left.

Oh, no, Sondra ... I NEVER mind seeing the ideas that you folks often have for my stuff! :-) Thanks ... the square crop is an interesting take. The *lean* still bothers my eye a bit, though. I'll need to keep tweaking it.....
