Fine For a Finch. I love the combination of your water shots and your bird shots in this one. The water and the entire bird being in the same plane makes for fantastic focus and background. Maybe it might be better without the dark part in the background but who knows. A very nice shot.

Thank you, Jamie. Within a 15 minute period this evening, I shot a blue jay, a sparrow, and this finch all drinking from the spout. I've been trying to get a picture of a bird drinking from the spout for some time and it happened all at once today. I ended up favoring this shot instead, for the pose and lighting. The shadow in the background is from the branch of a large tree and was unavoidable...I'm shooting through an 8"X12" pane of glass.
