He was probably so stuffed with fish scraps from the fishing boats, he could barely move! Easy target for the camera.

Excellent shot! I love pelicans, maybe because there aren't any around here, so I'm fascinated when I see them! :) The tones you used here are very appealing. He's so fat and regal and self-important sitting there for you! Makes me smile. :)
