wogears 186 Posted July 2, 2006 Wonderful light and color; shame about the back focus. Link to comment
shirkwolfe 0 Posted July 2, 2006 Les, please tell me what you mean by "back focus." I've attached the original photo. Would you do it differently? Thanks for your comment and any feedback. The light is sunlight that I allowed to shine between my elbow and body. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted July 2, 2006 It looks from the originally posted JPEG that the point of sharp focus was on the lower right-hand petal, not on the yellow stamens of the flower. From the full-size image, it looks better, but it might have helped to stop down further for more depth of field, to get all of the stamens sharp. Link to comment
shirkwolfe 0 Posted July 2, 2006 I appreciate the comments and I'll find a situation to try your suggestions. Again, thank you very much. Link to comment
lisicica 0 Posted July 5, 2006 It's hard to find words to describe the beauty of this photograph that emanates tranqulity, eternity, joy of life and so many other things that keep on coming one by one, like a breeze or like a soft tide to overwhelm you. It's simply divine. Link to comment
