This was one of the first pictures taken with our Nikon D1 when we

first got it three years ago. Your feedback +/- is appreciated.

Sherry - looks really washed out / underexposed. I would also do a quick crop to knock this off center. Also the flare on his shirt is distracting.

I like the tones and simplicity, but find the softness and flare bothersome. I'd probably like it better of the camera position were lower as well. I realize that it's an old shot, but in my opinion it's not up to the standards of the rest of your portfolio (I guess that's a good thing!)

Always appreciate good feedback. I really like the off-centered crop. The picture was taken as the sun was peaking over a nearby mountain top. We actually got a poster-size print of this back when we took it. We were amazed at the sharpness and detail that digital offers. You could count the eyelashes on his eyes. It is good to know that my photography shows signs of improvement throughout the years. I also was not too familiar with PhotoShop's abilities back then either. Again, thank you for the constructive criticism.
