It's a good photograph taken at a fantastic time of day, if only there was something to actually look at in that sunlight...

I like it's simplicity. I find interest in the dark form of the mountain & the detail in the wild flowers.

My first thought was to crop at the bottom, because of empty space without much contribution to the composition. But at a closer look there is a nice mirror of sky and land elements in the half parabolic: the bright area in the sky and the shadow (?) on the right. Fantastic light.

Beautiful shot, Lennart. All the threatening grandeur of a storm! Well done and well captured that stray of light.

Much to my regret I shall disagree with Carsten (a real master). The composition, placing the stray of light almost in the dead center is a great and creative departure from the corset that rules try to impose on creative photographs as you are.

Alberto, we are not such a long way away from each other... It was my first thought to crop, but then the center horizon grew on me (for a different reason). Of course rules are there to be broken
