I like it! That will look good up on the wall 16x20! I myself would probably crop a little off the left but you have the final say in how you want to portray the subject. I made a similar shot with an old shack in the middle of a 16x16 square format print, except mine wasn't IR like yours...that IR modification really does a super job. Excellent image!

Hi Sondra, A great find for someone that is holding a camera with an R-72 filter on the lens, especially. This house looks to be still pretty sound....Did you happened to have your 828 set on 8mp, I think this would make very good large print,as the others commented.......You know,I'll bet there have many good old biscuit'n gravy breakfast eaten in this house. Of course this probably was shot in the afternoon, but really has that morning look.....Lovely image......Jim

I don't really agree that cropping from the left or criticizing the rule of thirds here ... it's fine for me the way it is. And, I don't really understand what you wrote in the details about the IR filter and shutter speeds. But is the shutter speed on this a bit long to achieve the softness in the leaves? It's very nice! (Usually, when I'm coming through Lexington, it means that I'm on my way home, and really just want to GET THERE ... I ought to plan to actually visit there one of these days!)

In my Sony F828 the cut filter was removed. This filter tends to block the UV rays in most cameras and needs a longer shutter speed and tripod to achieve the infrared. With my Olympus 8080 I would have to use a tripod and a shutter speed of 6 minutes. Since the cut filter was removed I can shoot hand held at normal shutter speeds now. This applies more to the newer cameras. Some of my older digitals such as the Nikon 950 worked well without the tripod. Hope this info helps. Sondra
