Quebec. Thoughts?

Nice composition & angle. The car slipped through the field of focus - the nose & driver should be in focus instead of the wing & driver. This ruins it for me. Also the copyright watermark is distracting.

I was focusing on the helmet. With differnt cars of varying length I never try and focus on the nose because then the helmet comes across as soft. But then again, this might be something for me to try with a smaller aperture. Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

Don't get me wrong, you have a very strong start on a motor sports pro photographer s portfolio. It is hard as Hell to get a focus lock on a car coming at you. Been there, done that. That is why those auto focus Nikon telephoto lenses cost more than your family car. In this forum you ask for constructive criticism so I try & give it. I have been a pro photographer for 30 years, taught college classes in photography as well as graphic design. Please take my recommendations in the spirit that they are meant - to improve your performance in this craft. I still learn stuff all the time.

Please don't get me wrong. I really do appreciate your comments and constructive criticism as they help me hone my skills, so I DO appreciate your input. However with my images being lifted and used on sites I have no choice but to either kill the quality of the images or watermark them.
