pjmeade 12 Posted June 28, 2006 5.53am one July morning. I couldn't sleep, so I got up to be greeted by one of the most magical sunrises I've seen. What do you think? Thanks. Pete Link to comment

kahkityoong 0 Posted June 28, 2006 I can see why you found it magical, although the mist certainly contributes to this. Well captured. Link to comment
maria 7 Posted June 30, 2006 I've seen some similar with mountains, but definitely the layering of mist and forest is something original. congrats Maria Link to comment
gilbert 0 Posted July 1, 2006 Definately this picture is a highlight. The warm tones, the mist, the valley in the background make a composition that emanates peace. I think, if you wish to, this picture would also be suitable for a nice panorama crop. But that would be only another alternative for a great picture. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted July 1, 2006 Great picture. And blessed are the insomnias! I agree with Gilbert about the panoramic croping but it is also perfect as it is. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted July 2, 2006 I think the panorama crop looks very good. Thanks to everyone else for your comments too. Pete Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted July 2, 2006 Superb light. I have had some earlty starts recently and going along the M25 have seen some beautiful early morning misty effects but could not stop! This one was worth the loss of sleep. Link to comment
