Showing the clean air of the Maine Coast...like a Litmus Paper test, these small growths would die in poluted air, magic colour, well seen by your sharp eyes !

There are three things in a photograph (besides lots of others) that really catch my eye and draw my attention. 1. The color red, 2. Horses of course, and 3. Rocks/Stones, you got my eye from the flash of the tumbnail. Wonderful stones and lichen, really nice color and graphic detail, well and appropriately framed (as always), sharp exposure.......lets see.....what's lacking.....nothing.

A beautiful image, though IMO the coloured frame detracts rather than adds.

A terrific shot, beautifully composed with perfect colour. I could hang this on my wall. A real eye-catcher.

and my opinion is that the frame does not distract but gives it somerhing extra... yesssssssss
