Even with the large view, there is detail lost that was perfectly visible in the original. RRrrr...

I climbed 530 steps to get some of the shots that you'll see here and there over the next few days. The views from the top were spectacular!!

Anyway - do you like the colors? The lines? The orientation? This was the only real angle that I could get, and I only rotated it slightly to straighten the post in the middle of the square. I boosted the colors a tiny bit.

What are your thoughts?

Effective perspective, Lou Ann. I like the geometry helter-skelter across the scene...busy, but organized.

Works for me! As Ben S. commented on another, "I'm seeing London from a perspective I've never seen it from." In itself, this is a unique perspective. PS CS-2 CD forthcoming!

This is an outstanding composition. Objectively, the forms (buildings) and the lines are just amazing to me. Well done.

Smashing shot, Lou Ann! There are lines everywhere with the courtyard, the building verticals and the radiating lines in the courtyard all make for a striking shot. Nicely observed!

i like the way the lines lead my eye around the image, and of course, the colours (isn't that the way they spell it in England?) are beautiful!

Interesting perspective Lou Ann, The circle of the inside is surrounding by square buildings... good point of view!

Lou Ann, good composition with nice color and contrast. I like how all the elements work together here. ^_^

I really like this orientation. The column is well placed on that left 1/3 line and the radial lines projecting outwards from it. Like you said, it lacks some detail but the colors are great. Without that little extra detail this looks almost like a scale model that someone might build when suggesting a town square instead of the real life monument that it is.
