sideris 0 Posted July 13, 2006 Thank you Gustavo, I forget to comment some details of this pic. Scanned from a 35 mm film, unmanipulated, just cropped, this effect is an accident, it's the result of an underexposed ISO 400, shot taken at more or less 7:30 pm in winter, just twilight and a bit of the street lights at Cusco. This little boy was singing for coins in a large galley beside the main square with an extremely sweet and tiny voice. I guess he was 5 y.o. at all. He put a spell on me. So, The Little Magician. sideris 0 Posted July 13, 2006 Ups! As I can see the "3/3 Gnome" is working extra time today... I'm so sad because he has a numbers keyboard only... so never criticize a pic with words. Well, next time for sure. Link to comment
dancingdove 0 Posted July 30, 2006 PN won't allow me to rate, due to the "new & improved" system. Awesome capture, Carlos. The image tells much of the world you come from. Best Regards, d.d. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted October 1, 2006 This is a beautiful gem of a photo. I love it. There is a timelessness to it that cannot be found in most photos. Just fabulous! Link to comment
mkpd 0 Posted May 20, 2007 pobrecito..the grain helps a lot for the feeling in the photo. He looks like a little doll, just about to turn his head any minute. VERY VIDID photo Link to comment
rivera r 0 Posted June 21, 2007 Preciosa, tierna, triste, magica. Me encanta, este chiquillo, habla mil cosas en un silencio eterno. Felicitaciones! Link to comment
pisq 0 Posted March 22, 2008 The most telling feature is the small hand. The image portrays starkness and the sometimes unforgiving nature of life. But there is camaraderie is poverty, a trait we often forget as we rise through life. Link to comment
