Spilled Pills

I know this needs some work but, I'm a beginner. I wanted to try

studio photography so bought a new monolight and flashmeter. This is

my first attempt with them ever so --- I think there should have

been more definition at the rear of the bottle - but have no idea

how to accomplish this. I hoped to get the pills to 'pop' more -

again, no idea how. I had another shot in this series with the

bottle cap but, half the cap was totally washed out. Do I need to

cut back on the light or what? As stated, I'm a newbie so any help

is appreciated.

Augphoto - Take this with a grain of salt as I am also a beginner but I think this is a good photo. To get the definition on the back of the bottle have you tried using a black reflector? Personally I think that it is a shame that people rate postings low and don't offer suggestions. Good luck! -Todd-
