This is a photograph I took in our local botanical garden. Then

tried to use PS texture filter to give it a painting sort of look.

Comments and suggestion on how to improve appreciated.

I want to see this photo without the effect - the shape of the flower and the coloring is so wonderful. I think the texture may be a distraction from the inherent beauty of the flower all by itself. I also like how the tiniest bit of green is glowing around the edges of the flower. It's very dramatic.
