Rock formations at Bryce are just amazing! Best time to photograph

landscapes is at sunrise and sunset. There is also some wildlife

there as well that can be captured anytime.

Just an opinion, maybe a small thing as I really like this image. To me, the center column looks something like the bust of a person, so it seems like the center of interest.

As it is in the center of the photo, with a much brighter space in the left, it kind of leads my eye out to the left, with nothing to bring it back in to the image.

You might play with this, with Photoshop, (To me, a Digital Darkroom) and alter the lighting. With the "Magic Wand" you can capture the section which is bright, and tone it down a bit. Possibly to about the same level as the rocks on the right.

If it were my Photo, I'd also crop it a bit, to move the center of interest slightly off center, so it dominates the photo more, so the "bust" appears to be looking into the picture.

As my favorite subjects are Red Rock Country, wish this were mine. :)

I always wonder about guys like you who rate profusely and harshly, yet submit only a tiny number of your own images to be rated. Insecure?

Yours anon.

I like looking at photo's and rating them. I'm truely sorry for not posting more of my work for you. To be honest here I FEAR being ripped off; people copying my work. Hope this helps. Always feel free in emailing me and venting your frustrations. Feel free in asking why I rated something of yours very low or very high. Art is a judgement call. Thats all it is. Do we like it or perhaps we don't.

For example - There is a sail boat sailing in the ocean. On the beach there are 30 well paid National Geographic professional photographers. Some of them photograph just the sail, others photograph the whole boat, some use a wide angle lens and the boat becomes very small in relation to the ocean. Yet others may use a fish eye lens and make the ocean look like it's a circle with the boat looking as though it's falling off of the world.

Are all of these photos right or wrong? Are only some of them correct? It's art. We all see art differently.

One of my images had over 20,000 hits (views). People enjoying this one photo. Well I kind of freaked out and removed it. It's so easy for some jerk to copy a photo and call it their own. Even if I know who ripped me off the expenses of going to court will cost way more than my time and the money involved.

Anyway email me anytime and lets have fun getting to know each other. My very best Bob
