howard_glazer 0 Posted December 2, 2001 I have to agree with the above post and to add that this photo works great, You get the mist over the lake with the dead tree plus the background in a golden color. Link to comment
steve_strawn 0 Posted December 2, 2001 This is incredible. I love the fact that you popped a cheap-o lens on a top-of the line body and got something incredible. Link to comment
christin_jemming 0 Posted December 2, 2001 I have been to Jackson many times and never came away with anything this good! Link to comment
dan_sheppard 0 Posted December 2, 2001 I like it too. Beautiful shades of yellow. Neat branches in the front. A little distraction in the lower right corner. If you have photoshop, you may want to clean those up. Link to comment
discus 0 Posted December 4, 2001 Awesome light! f8 and be there, huh?! =0) Nice composition too. J. Link to comment

kyle_martens 0 Posted December 26, 2001 Early morning fog over the water with the sun on the mountains but not yet on the water very nice! In order to be at the right place at the right time you have to do some wandering. Link to comment
arthur sevestre 0 Posted March 15, 2002 Grrrreat shot! Beautiful colours and composition, but... it's really too bad that the lowest part of the reflection of the twigs is cut off. Maybe they are still in the original slide?? Link to comment
kkwan 0 Posted March 26, 2002 Amazingly moody shot! The branches in the water anchors the foreground of the shot really well. The fog, the gentle ripples in the water, and that amazing mountain background lit by the gorgeous morning light perfect the image. Were you in the water when you shot this? Striking shot! paul_frank 0 Posted March 27, 2002 steve strawn obviously knows very little about optics. A 50/1.8 while cheap is an immensly sharp lens. Oh well, his loss. On the other hand, this is an amazingly well executed photograph. Link to comment
attila 0 Posted March 1, 2004 This is a stitch of 3 photos and cropped from the sides, no other alterations were done. What do you think? Link to comment
