birds - various Heron Cursing

This is funny. I just wish he was a little close so I could better appreciate his howling face.

He/she was on an oil barge and there were babies in the nest, barely visible. We were in a boat and couldn't get much closer than this. I have cropped somewhat, but didn't want to go too far with it so as to give an idea of the surroundings.

I appreciate the sentiment of the heron.Quite naturally she would not like any intrusion to her nursery:-)

Actually, he/she was regurgitating food and wasn't actually upset with us. They are pretty used to fishing boats going by all the time.

Really wonderful composition. Those long, stick-like legs mix well with the sticks in the nest :) The 2 diagonal lines really add to the composition, they almost look like the legs of a very large Heron :) Super detail, well composed. I like!

Yeah - it sure does look like she's yelling AT you! :-) Great caption ... made me smile!

Note the baby in the nest - you can barely make out one eye. Bird
