These two young Ukrainian women exchange phone numbers on

their 'mobiles' (cell phones), and take mine (yes!), recently. Your

ratings and critiques are invited and most welcome for this entirely

full frame, candid and unmanipulated photo. If you rate harshly or

very critically, please submit a helpful and constructive

comment/Please share your superior knowledge to help improve my

photography. Thanks! Enjoy! John

I'm sure I have, among the nine or ten captures, a perfectly-focused photo of these two maidens, but didn't frankly much care, as I wanted to capture the best photo of the moment, and didn't so much care about 'blur' or not as opposed to capturing the overwhelming 'feeling' of a guy being so overwhelmingly close to two such beautiful women (this is a very wide angle capture if you can't tell, and the woman, right, says she's 1.8 meters, about 5'10" tall, but in reality unless I've shrunk, she's really about 6'2" tall or taller -- so tall that to take her portrait, she had to sit down, because even though I'm of average height for my generation, she towers over me and then tried to explain her towering height by pointing to her 'heels' -- about 1-1/2 inch spikes on sandles -- not much.

I think I genuinely captured the 'moment' though I may search out the 'perfectly' focused, non-blurred capture and choose it for posting since it will be almost identical, so no one can fault my camera technique (it's hard to choose NEF -- raw -- captures to work on in thumbnail) on my various browsers when I'm in a hurry as I was that day.)

Thanks for the encouraging comment.

I'd say 'wish you were there', but frankly I don't and wouldn't have given up the moment for anything. You can have your own moments, thank you.

(and probably do . . . I spent a lifetime waiting for mine here ;-)

(By the way, they are extremely intelligent, cooperative, beautiful, very, very nice people, both of them, and could some day be Ukrainian leaders of politcs or commerce -- it's not impossible to imagine -- Julia Timoshenko -- who got most votes in last national election is a 'stunner' and very intellient also, a leader of the Orange Revolution who is very powerful since the last election, though she had got booted out of the last government for 'not getting along', or 'not making things work' -- but that government has had problems -- the perfect storm of failed policies . . . not all its fault.

Buy a camera, join a web site, and suddenly you're surrounded by stunning photomodels.

Every man's dream.

Is it any wonder that Jon Peri is Photo.net's 'most interesting man?'
