ronald koster 0 Posted June 25, 2006 Vrindavan Lila, Thanx for your comment, but i think you dont understand the idea of my photo............. If i focussed more on the snails the photo becomes a macro photo and thats not what i had in mind. I choosed the DOF intentional, a line focussed with sharp snails in it........................... So CROSSING LINES....................................... Link to comment
chris hayes 0 Posted June 25, 2006 Very unique shot, I love this kind of view. You took an everyday common occurence and made a piece of art. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 25, 2006 Ronald, Very nice composition, patterns, and use of DOF. I think cropping out the upper black edge would have strengthened the pattern by not showing that it ends. I agree that the upper blur weakens the pattern a bit, but sometimes things like that are unavoidable. -Fred Link to comment

james_symington1 0 Posted June 26, 2006 I don't think this image could be improved on either...framing and DOF is just fine. Well done. Link to comment

vsuley 0 Posted June 27, 2006 This is absolutely fantastic! I love the composition and the exposure, its perfect. I am not sure what I think about the black edge at the top though; but as long as it meets your vision its fine! Awesome work! Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted June 27, 2006 Impressive vision. I don't see how this shot could be improved. Link to comment
peter bernik 0 Posted June 27, 2006 As good as it gets. Contrasts, DOF and composition are perfect. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted June 27, 2006 I agree with James and Ronald. DOF, blurr, framing... every facts in order to obtain the exact result. Crossing lines... in line. In my opinion here the idea of scale is the core. As far as I can see the critics written above about those details were done in order of a different concept. Obviously, we all of us are differents, even the shapes and colors are perceived in a different way, then our universe is so rich. At all, a mesmerising image. Link to comment
thanhthanh 0 Posted June 27, 2006 i'd crop the top a little (about 1/4th) to focus in on the subject more. otherwise, great shot!!! creates an instant smile. cheers. Link to comment
